History of the Band

michaels' @ maximum were set up in August 2003 when in May of the same year, Colm Rooney came to Ciarán O'Kelly with the idea of recording an entire album in one night. Several weeks later, the band, who had been friends from school, came together to produce the album. The album, named 11 hours was such a success, the four members decided to continue on in its spirit, by endlessly pursuing the quest for inspiration in the most unlikely of places. They are now michaels' @ maximum

11 Hours Project

The 11 hours project saw the band writing and recording through the night to produce an entire collection of brand new songs as well as artwork design & production in 11 hours. The CD was completed at 7.35am on August 11th 2003, and the band michaels' @ maximum were born.
