History of the Band

michaels' @ maximum were set up in August 2003 when in May of the same year, Colm Rooney came to Ciarán O'Kelly with the idea of recording an entire album in one night. Several weeks later, the band, who had been friends from school, came together to produce the album. The album, named 11 hours was such a success, the four members decided to continue on in its spirit, by endlessly pursuing the quest for inspiration in the most unlikely of places. They are now michaels' @ maximum

Aroundabout Project

Aroundabout, the second of the Michaels inspirational projects, was recorded on the spot in various locations around the town of Portmarnock, Co.Dublin. This CD exclusively features Bobby Jacoby and the General. Recorded, Friday 17th October 2003 between 10.45pm and 2.30am
